font-size: 14pt;\">Cabe recordar que este conflicto, llevado adelante en el pa\u00eds por un gobierno de facto, busc\u00f3 resolver a trav\u00e9s de las armas un reclamo que la Argentina lleva adelante pac\u00edficamente desde 1833, fecha en la cual una escuadra brit\u00e1nica expuls\u00f3 a las autoridades nacionales de Puerto Argentino, la capital de las Malvinas que los ocupantes rebautizaron Port Stanley, e instaur\u00f3 un territorio de ultramar a cargo de la Corona brit\u00e1nica dentro de la plataforma continental argentina.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 14pt;\">Desde entonces, tal como se\u00f1ala el Gobierno nacional en su sitio web, \u201csubsiste una disputa de soberan\u00eda entre la Rep\u00fablica Argentina y el Reino Unido de Gran Breta\u00f1a e Irlanda del Norte\u201d. El desembarco empez\u00f3 en peque\u00f1a escala a las 23.45 del 1 de abril, cuando comandos anfibios alcanzaron la costa desde el destructor ARA Sant\u00edsima Trinidad.
